Yesterday marked Liam’s 11th week of life. In one more week, the newborn period will be officially over. So sad!!
Liam is learning and growing every single day! He now weighs 14 pounds, and he loves to interact with his environment.
This week he laughed out loud for the first time while awake (he has been laughing in his sleep since he was first born), and has been doing it daily ever since! Up until now, he had made lots of happy coos and squeals, but this was an actual chuckle! I happened to catch a laugh on video camera, and am sharing it here. The laugh is in the 2nd half of the video.
He is doing great at holding up his head. His head will still drop forward a little after a while, but his progress in this area has been amazing to watch!
He is teething – a tiny bit of a tooth can be felt in the lower left side of his mouth! I can’t believe he is teething so early, but maybe this means we will finish early, too.
He absolutely LOVES standing on our laps, and he is able to support his weight without wobbling for long stretches at a time! I have a picture of this below.
I know there are other things that have happened I am forgetting to mention. I need to start making a note of things as they happen so I can record them here each week.

Happy 11 weeks, Liam! He looks so inquisitive…like he’s ready to explore the world with those big, bright eyes!

They seem to have the same things going on and act very similar. Cute video!! Cannot believe how fast time is going. They are getting too big too fast!

I’ve had to play a little catch up on ya because I’ve missed a few posts! Liam is growing so much and is such a handsome little boy!
